Management Consultancy Axis Corporate has appointed Chris Allen as their new Digital Director.  Chris has moved Capgemini Consulting, where he was a Principal in their Digital Banking team.   In this capacity, he advised both fintechs and incumbent financial services businesses on how to thrive in the digital economy – focusing on digital proposition design, open banking strategy, and complex programme delivery.

The appointment of a new Digital Director comes as Axis Corporate experiences rising demand for digital implementation and delivery Chris Allen takes up the role in Axis Corporate’s London office, bringing more than a decade of consulting experience with him. Chris specialises in working collaboratively with clients to deliver high-value digital transformation programmes and combining this with deep financial services domain expertise.   Chris will report to Daniel Meere, Managing Director, and will have a national and global remit with Axis Corporate.

Chris joins Axis Corporate after successful stints in HSBC’s Global Management Office and Capgemini Consulting’s Digital Banking Team. Chris has delivered significant value to the European banking market – having led business delivery for UK’s first FCA authorised fintech lending product, advised on early adoption Digital Operating Models and comprehensive Proposition renewal for a Leading European Bank.   Through these roles, Chris has demonstrated leadership in both start-up and large-scale organisations and been a been an effective change agent in digital consulting recruitment, business development, and delivery.
