Thanks to all of you that were able to join us at the Axis Summer Hootenanny in our new home at Fora, Folgate Street.    Sorry to those of you who had last-minute work commitments and were unable to attend, we do understand and hope you can join us another time.

As a challenger consultancy, we’re always keen to show that we do things differently and take the ‘disruptive element’ into our own work as well as helping our clients to deliver on it. The new format, whereby we introduced the audience to each other upfront with some brief ‘shout outs’, the video clips from Bud, Credit Data Research and Affinity to set the scene for discussions on how to better leverage customer data, how to bring new innovative products to market and how to bridge the cultural gap when creating a marketplace or building a partnership ecosystem, seemed to be a hit.

We’re always encouraged to see lively discussion and new ideas forming. We saw this in how a bespoke SME credit passport could help alternative lenders to connect growth trading firms with capital, how the integration layer that enables seamless connectivity for accounting packages can help a marketplace to flourish, and how technology is only half the answer to getting external partners to work effectively together to increase development agility.

Feedback on the event and the format was really positive. We saw many new connections being made, some great ideas put forward on the ‘golden tickets’ and were already being asked when the next event would take place. We’ll work all of this into the next get together.

As ever, we’re happy to talk through your plans with you, hear what’s on your mind and hopefully bring some fresh thinking to the table. Now you know where we are, don’t be a stranger.
